Our Story

 J.E Designs & Décor has been creating, inspiring, and designing dream spaces for 20 years. As a family business, the inspiration came from Grandma “J.E Design & Décor,” who did not have a wall without wallpaper, layered custom drapes with matching bedspreads, and the carpet always matched the drapes. This made Grandma’s “J.E Designs & Décor” home special, unique, and memorable. We want to make your home feel the same with your personal touch.

Bringing joy to our clients is the most important thing for us. We want our clients to walk into the space we helped create and feel like it is their home. It is one thing to purchase a house, but making it a space to thoroughly entertain, play games with your family, or sit and watch T.V. is another. It makes you feel like you can be your whole self in a room with four walls.

JENNIFER - CEO, Founder, and Expert Designer at J.E Design & Décor 

I spent seven years in the hospitality industry, where managing & marketing were just some of my roles. I moved into retail, managing and visual merchandising with J.A.C.O.B., G.A.P., and Pier 1. I fell in love with putting materials together to create fabulous looks and maximum product sell-through. Moving into my years of renovating, I would return to Budget Blinds for my window coverings. The finishing that the window coverings would create with the space made me fall in love with window coverings.

I have been the lead design consultant in our Budget Blinds franchise for 13 years. In that time, we have owned a flooring business trained worldwide with amazing vendors and corporate teams. I am an Inspired Drapery Specialist, Automation Specialist, and Certified Stager. As I knocked on 48 years on this earth, I realized my cup had been filled.

Eric - co founder

Before working with Jenn in our joint endeavours, I was in the oil and gas industry for 25 years at the same company. While with this company, I specialized in the quality aspect of the manufacturing process along with R&D for new product lines. Also, I created a quality system that was used as corporate guidelines on how business was to be carried out to control and replicate quality and conformity throughout the different aspects of the company, e.g. Customer Service, Production, QA, etc.

Like Jenn, I had also developed health issues that changed the way I viewed life, what was important to me, and the direction that I wanted to go in my career, and that’s when I partnered up with Jenn to develop J.E. My past endeavours have enabled me to evaluate the J.E product lines to ensure product value by providing the best possible products and services for our customers. My background has helped me deliver the best service as our company’s window coverings technician and product manager.

Emma - Customer Care Specialist

I have been a part of J.E. Design & Decor as the Customer Care Specialist and Jennifer’s assistant for seven years. We aim to bring fast services and excellent communication with our customers throughout the process to ensure superior services.                     

Fresh out of high school, I started working a summer job I had thought at the time.. little did I know it would turn into something I love and have now been with for seven years. J.E. Design has so much genuine love and spirit put into it; Jennifer has worked hard to ensure we offer the best services.
